1970 Chevrolet C20 Custom Camper Pickup

This 1970 Chevrolet C20 Custom Camper pickup was said to have remained under the care of a single family in California until the current owner’s 2007 purchase. It was said to have been refurbished approximately 26 years ago. Power is provided by a 400ci V8 linked with a three-speed Turbo Hydramatic automatic transmission, and the truck is finished in white over black vinyl. Features include a receiver hitch, power steering, front disc brakes, 16.5″ steel wheels, a sliding rear window, a cassette stereo, and a center console. This C20 is now offered by the seller on behalf of their parents with a clean Oregon title in the owner’s name.

The truck was repainted in white approximately 26 years ago and features a Fleetside bed as well as towing mirrors, a receiver hitch, a sliding rear window, and a rear step bumper. There is a chip in one of the windows.

White-painted 16.5″ steel wheels are mounted with Power King tires. The truck is equipped with power steering, and braking is provided by front discs and rear drums.

The bench seat was re-covered in black vinyl under previous ownership. Interior appointments include a center console, a cassette stereo, and a heater. The truck is equipped with an air conditioning system, but it does not work.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer and gauges measuring fuel level, amperage, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 97k miles, approximately 4k of which were added under current ownership.

The 400ci V8 was factory-rated at 242 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque, and it is said to have been fitted with an RV camshaft under previous ownership.

Power is routed through a three-speed Turbo Hydramatic automatic transmission.
