1951 Crosley CD Super Sedan at No Reserve

This 1951 Crosley Super sedan was repainted in Ocean Foam Green in 2025, and its interior has been retrimmed in green and brown upholstery. Powered by a 44ci inline-four linked with a three-speed manual transmission, the car is equipped with woodgrain quarter-panel trim, painted 12″ steel wheels, hubcaps, front bucket seats, a rear bench, an AM radio, and a heater. The seller purchased the vehicle out of Arkansas in August 2026. This CD sedan is now offered at no reserve with a Vermont title in the seller’s name.

The Crosley Series CD lineup received updated front-end styling for 1949, and production ran until the closure of Crosley Motors in 1952. This example is said to have been repainted in Ocean Foam Green in 2025, and faux woodgrain adorns the quarter panels. A Crosley bird ornament tops the hood, and other exterior equipment includes a chrome front bumper, “cat-eye” headlight trim, turn signals and hazard lights, a split windshield, fender vents, Super badging, a driver-side mirror, dual taillights, and a body-color rear bumper.

The grille features a decorative spinning propeller. The seller notes bubbling paint on the passenger door, chips in the rear-bumper supports, a chip in the driver’s door glass, and other imperfections, as pictured in the gallery below.

White-painted 12″ steel wheels feature bright Crosley-branded hubcaps and are mounted with Yokohama tires measuring 145SR12. Braking is handled by front and rear drums. The car rides on an 80″ wheelbase.

The front bucket and rear bench seats have been retrimmed in custom teal and brown upholstery, which carries over to the door and side panels. Interior appointments include roll-down windows, a push-button AM radio, a heater, front lap belts, electric windshield wipers, an aftermarket shift knob, a glovebox, and black carpeting. A traffic-light viewer is secured to the top of the painted steel dashboard.

The 70-mph speedometer is surrounded by gauges for amperage, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 14k miles, less than 10 of which were added by the seller.

The 44ci inline-four features a single downdraft carburetor and was factory rated at 26.5 gross horsepower. A six-volt electrical system is retained. The fuel tank was replaced under prior ownership.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a three-speed manual transmission.

An owner’s manual, a Crosley book, and other marque memorabilia will accompany the vehicle.
