This 1987 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce was first delivered to Beach Imports of Newport Beach, California, and it has remained in the seller’s neighborhood for about 39 years. The car shows 59k miles and was purchased by the seller earlier this year. It is finished in Alfa Red over black leather and is powered by a 2.0L twin-cam inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, 14″ five-spoke alloy wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a black convertible soft top, a rear spoiler, bucket seats, an Eclipse CD stereo, air conditioning, and power windows. This S3 Spider Veloce is now offered with a window sticker, the owner’s manual, service records, a tool kit, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The Pininfarina-designed bodywork was finished from the factory in Alfa Red (AR530), and it has been refinished. Exterior features include a black convertible soft top, a front air dam, power-operated side mirrors, and a red-finished rear spoiler and bumpers.

The 14″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Falken Pro GS Touring A/S tires, which show date codes from 2023 and 2024. Braking is handled by power-assisted discs at each corner. The brakes are said to have been serviced recently, at which time calipers were replaced.

The cabin features bucket seats trimmed in black leather, and amenities include an Eclipse CD stereo, air conditioning, power windows, vent windows, and a digital clock.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames Jaeger instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer as well as gauges for oil pressure, voltage, fuel level, and coolant temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 59k miles, approximately 1,100 of which were added under current ownership.

The 2.0-liter DOHC inline-four features Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection for a factory rating of 115 horsepower and 110 lb-ft of torque. The seller tells us that recent service has included an oil change and a tune-up.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Rubber components along the underbody have been replaced.

The window sticker lists initial delivery to Beach Imports of Newport Beach, California, as well as factory colors and options.
