1950 Chevrolet 3100 Panel Truck 4-Speed

This 1950 Chevrolet 3100 panel truck was purchased around two years ago by the seller, who has since used it to promote their Chevy dealership. He tells us that it was refurbished while it was with its previous owner in Virginia for roughly eight years. The truck features a green and yellow Deere & Company livery over a refreshed black interior, and it has 16″ steel wheels, bucket seats, and a wood-plank cargo floor. Power comes from a 216ci inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. This 3100 panel van is offered with a Florida title in the name of the seller’s business.

The body’s green finish is accented by yellow pinstripes and graphics as well as chrome bumpers and a bright grille. Other details include dual mirrors, tinted windows, and LED taillights. The seller adds that the lettering on the rear doors is removable.

The body-colored 16″ steel wheels are trimmed with bright hubcaps, and they are mounted with 215/70 American Classic tires. Steering and the drum brakes are unassisted.

The cabin has pleated black vinyl upholstery, bucket seats, lap belts, and a diamond-plate gas pedal. The cargo area features a wood-plank floor with black-finished runners.

A necker knob with a burlesque photo is mounted on the steering wheel, which fronts a 90-mph speedometer and a combination gauge for coolant temperature, fuel level, oil pressure, and amperage, although the fuel gauge is not accurate. The windshield wipers also need some adjustment, and the turn signals are not working. The five-digit odometer shows 918 miles, and total mileage is unknown.

The 216ci inline-six retains an oil-bath air cleaner on a single-barrel carburetor. The engine was factory rated at 92 horsepower and 176 lb-ft of torque.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt differential, which is said to be equipped with 4.11:1 gearing.

The odometer status on the Florida title is “Exempt”.
