This 1995 Land Rover Range Rover County Classic LWB was acquired by the seller in 2023 as a non-running project following approximately 11 years off the road. Subsequent refurbishments and modifications included rust repairs, refinishing body panels, installing a replacement 4.6-liter V8 with top-hat cylinder liners and a performance camshaft, and retrofitting a revised engine management chip, Terrafirma springs, Bilstein shocks, a MagnaFlow cat-back exhaust system, and an aluminum upper tailgate. Further work included overhauling the four-speed automatic transmission, re-trimming the seats in Bisque leather, and replacing the tires, driveline mounts, tie rod ends, suspension bushings, headliner, and more. Finished in black, the truck has a dual-range transfer case, a sunroof, fog lights, a receiver hitch, 16″ alloy wheels, heated power-adjustable front seats, and air conditioning. This Range Rover County Classic LWB shows 153k miles and is now offered at no reserve with refurbishment photos, receipts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Colorado title in the seller’s name.

The truck is finished in Beluga Black and features a power sunroof, fog lights, a receiver hitch, and a rear window wiper. A replacement aluminum upper tailgate was sourced under current ownership, and the seller tells us that the hood, roof, and tailgate were refinished to address faded paint. Additional work included cutting out rust and welding in replacement footwell panels before the areas were seam-sealed and repainted. The inner front body panels and cowl were also primed, sealed, and finished in black while the panels were removed. A replacement heated windshield was installed under current ownership, along with the mud flaps and vinyl trim on the D-pillars, per the seller. There are dings and scratches on some of the exterior panels, additional photos of which are viewable in the gallery below.

The factory air suspension was replaced with Terrafirma springs and Bilstein shocks under current ownership. Additional refurbishments included the installation of a used ABS pump, resealing the steering box, adding polyurethane suspension bushings, servicing the front swivel balls, and replacing the power steering reservoir, tie rod ends, one of the power steering hoses, and two ABS wheel speed sensors. The 16″ Cyclone-design alloy wheels are mounted with 225/75 Goodyear Wrangler tires that are said to have been installed under current ownership. The seller tells us that the brake fluid has been flushed.

The wiring for the front seat heating elements was repaired, and the seats were fitted with Bisque leather covers under current ownership. The seller tells us that additional refurbishments included disassembling the doors, adjusting the window and locking mechanisms, and treating the inner door cavities with Waxoyl before reassembly. A replacement headliner, switches, and speakers were installed, per the seller, and the wood interior trim was refinished. Additional appointments consist of a cassette stereo, an analog dashboard clock, air conditioning, and power-adjustable front seats. The cruise control is inoperative, and discoloration is visible on the wood center console trim behind the shifter.

A four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 135-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 153k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership. There are scratches at the base of the speedometer dial.

A 4.6L-specification short block with top-hat cylinder liners was sourced from RPi Engineering in the UK in 2024, along with a Piper 270i performance camshaft and a Tornado engine management chip. The cylinder heads were rebuilt, remanufactured fuel injectors were installed, and the following replacement components were installed during the refurbishment:
- Nissens aluminum radiator
- Water pump & thermostat
- Coolant hoses & expansion tank
- Oil pump gear
- Engine gaskets & seals
- Fan clutch
- Starter
- Fuel pump
- Spark plugs
- Engine mounts

Power is delivered to all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a two-speed transfer case with viscous coupling. The transmission was overhauled in 2024, and additional work that year consisted of resealing the rear differential, reconditioning the axles, and replacing the transfer case output shaft seal and the transmission mounts. A MagnaFlow cat-back exhaust system was installed under current ownership.

Photos taken during various stages of the refurbishment are viewable in the gallery below.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other reported damage.
