The seller assembled this trio of display pieces during the summer, and the collection includes a 15.5′-wide Sinclair banner as well as illuminated Pure Oil Company and Shell signs that are over 5′ wide. The lot is offered at no reserve in Southbury, Connecticut.
The banner is made of vinyl-coated canvas and measures 15.5′ wide by 11′ tall. Discoloration and areas of fading and peeling are noted.
The Pure sign measures 71.5″ in diameter by 18″ deep. The translucent sign panel’s can was constructed under current ownership. The seller also installed the LEDs, 120-volt driver, power cord, and switch.
The Kolux-manufactured Lexan Shell sign panel measures 74.5″ wide by 74″ tall, and the completed sign is 8″ deep. The can was fabricated under current ownership, and the seller installed the LEDs, 120-volt driver, power cord, and switch. Both signs have mounting brackets on the rear.
