This 1978 Chevrolet Monte Carlo was refinished in red under prior ownership and is powered by a performance-oriented small-block V8 paired with a three-speed TH400 automatic transmission. The engine utilizes a Dart block, aluminum heads, MSD ignition, and a high-performance camshaft, and other vehicle equipment includes a raised-cowl hood, American Racing Outlaw wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, and a 12-bolt rear axle. The body is finished in metallic red and has removable T-top roof panels, while the custom-trimmed black interior has red contrast stitching and features a B&M QuickSilver shifter, an Alpine touchscreen head unit, AutoMeter Ultra-Lite instrumentation, and a wood-rimmed steering wheel. This modified Monte Carlo is now offered by the selling dealer at no reserve with a clean Minnesota title.

The body has been repainted red and has removable T-top roof panels along with a Landau-style black vinyl partial roof. The paint is complemented by a black grille and trim around the headlights and taillights, and further elements include tinted windows, body-color bumpers, and a raised-cowl hood.

American Racing 15″ Outlaw wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires. The car is equipped with a rear sway bar along with power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes.

The front bucket and rear bench seats are trimmed in black upholstery with red stitching that extends to the door panels and center console. The cabin is further appointed with a B&M QuickSilver shifter, a carbon-look instrument bezel, and a Kenwood touchscreen head unit.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel sits on a tilting column ahead of backlit AutoMeter Ultra-Lite II instrumentation, including a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and readouts for voltage, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The digital odometer shows ~100 miles, and the total mileage is unknown.

The selling dealer tells us the small-block V8 is a 350ci unit, and it is comprised of a Dart block, aluminum cylinder heads, a Holley intake manifold, and MSD ignition.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission and a 12-bolt rear end with adjustable rear shock mounts. The dual exhaust system has Flowmaster mufflers.
