This black-over-black 1990 Porsche 928 GT was first sold by Porsche of Newport Beach, California, and it was offered on BaT in December 2021 before it was acquired by the seller. Subsequent work included replacing the timing belt, brake fluid reservoir, coolant pressure switch, accessory drive belts, coolant hoses, rear hatch struts, and tires. Powered by a 5.0-liter DOHC V8 mated to a five-speed manual transaxle, the car is equipped with a sunroof, power-adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, and 16″ Design 90 alloy wheels, while modifications consist of a Bluetooth-capable Continental stereo, a Motorsport SLC X-pipe with high-flow catalytic converters, and a SharkTuner ECU chipset. Previously listed on BaT in August 2024, this 928 GT has 130k miles and is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with service records, a Carfax report, and a New York title in the owner’s name.

The car is finished in black and features pop-up headlights, integrated fog lights, a sunroof, and a hatchback with a rear window wiper. The side moldings were removed under previous ownership, and the doors were subsequently refinished. Replacement rear hatch struts were installed in 2022, and aftermarket high-output headlight bulbs were installed in March 2022. A blemish is noted at the bottom of the right-rear window, condensation is present on the inside of the taillight lenses, and additional photos of the paint and trim condition are viewable in the gallery below. The Carfax report lists “minor damage” to the right front portion of the car in an August 2014 entry, though no additional information is available.

Silver-finished 16″ Design 90 alloy wheels are mounted with 225/50 front and 245/45 rear Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires that were installed under current ownership. Braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs with ABS. The front wheel bearings were greased and adjusted, and the rear anti-sway bar links were replaced in March 2022. The brake fluid reservoir was replaced in September of that year, and an issue with the brake level warning light was diagnosed and repaired in 2026. Curb marks are visible on one of the wheels.

The cabin features power-adjustable front seats upholstered in black leather, along with color-coordinated carpeting and trim. Equipment includes dual front airbags, automatic climate control, an analog clock, and a Bluetooth-capable Continental stereo. The heater valve was replaced, and the air conditioning system was converted to R134a refrigerant in 2024. The lower front corner of the coin sorter on the driver’s door is broken, and one of the left rear speaker grilles is missing.

A leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer shows 130k miles, approximately 8k of which were added under current ownership.

The 5.0-liter DOHC V8 features four valves per cylinder and was modified with a Motorsports SLC X-pipe with high-flow catalytic converters as well as a SharkTuner ECU chipset under previous ownership. A PKT timing belt tensioner and a replacement water pump were installed in 2021, and the expansion tank cap was replaced in 2022. Service in September 2026 consisted of an oil change and replacing the timing belt, air filter, accessory drive belts, and radiator hoses.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned damage entry.
