1969 Honda Z50A Mini Trail at No Reserve

This 1969 Honda Z50A Mini Trail reportedly remained on static display in an Ohio living room for a number of years before being refurbished circa 2024. Acquired by the seller in 2026, the bike is finished in yellow with silver accents and powered by a 49cc four-stroke single paired with a three-speed semi-automatic transmission. Details include a kick starter, an inverted fork, a height-adjustable solo seat, a keyed ignition, trail lighting, silver-finished 8″ steel wheels, a side stand, and chrome twist-lock folding handlebars and fenders. This Z50A Mini Trail is now offered at no reserve in Michigan for off-road use only with a bill of sale.

The bike and steel backbone frame were refinished in yellow with silver accents under prior ownership circa 2024, per the seller. Features include a height-adjustable black vinyl solo seat, trail lighting, chrome fenders, folding foot pegs, and a side stand.

The two-piece 8″ steel wheels are finished in silver and mounted with IRC Tractor Grip tires. Braking is handled by front and rear drums. An inverted fork with black gaiters comprises the bike’s only suspension.

The chrome twist-lock folding handlebars are equipped with black grips, bright levers, a twist-grip throttle, and a headlight switch. No instrumentation is present, therefore total mileage is unknown. A keyed ignition is located under the fuel tank.

The 49cc four-stroke single features a kick starter and a chrome upswept exhaust system, and it was factory rated at two horsepower and two lb-ft of torque. The seller states the engine was overhauled circa 2024 under prior ownership, and under current ownership the carburetor was cleaned, the spark plug replaced, and the engine oil changed.

The engine stamp is shown above, and the frame VIN sequence Z50A194647 is captured in the gallery.

Power is routed to the rear wheel through a three-speed semi-automatic transmission and a drive chain with an upper chrome guard.

The bike does not have a title or registration. It is being sold on a bill of sale only.
