1961 Lincoln Continental Convertible

This 1961 Lincoln Continental is a blue-on-blue convertible that is equipped with a power-operated white soft top and is powered by a 430ci V8 linked with a three-speed automatic transmission. The car has power steering, power-assisted brakes, and 15″ steel wheels in addition to a tilt steering wheel, power windows, and a push-button radio. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2026, this Continental convertible is now offered in South Carolina with records and an Ohio title.

The car was finished from the factory in Blue Haze. The trunk and hood were repainted following the selling dealer’s acquisition, and other areas of touched-up paint are noted. Exterior details include a power-operated white soft top, quad headlights, dual side mirrors, a Lincoln hood ornament, and chrome bumpers and trim.

Steel 15″ wheels feature polished covers and are mounted with Coker Classic whitewall tires. Power steering was standard, and braking is provided by power-assisted front and rear drums.

The cabin houses bench seating upholstered in blue leather in addition to power windows and a push-button radio.

The three-spoke tilting steering wheel fronts a horizontal-sweep 120-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows under 38k miles. Total mileage is unknown.

The 430ci V8 was factory equipped with a two-barrel carburetor and was rated at 300 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a dual-range three-speed automatic transmission and a rear axle with 2.89:1 gearing.
