1976 Ford F-250 Custom

This 1976 Ford F-250 Custom pickup was said to have been purchased new by the current owner’s father-in-law and acquired by them in 2010. In 2022, it was repainted white following body repairs, and additional work performed within the last five years has included the replacement of the carburetor, water pump, thermostat, accessory belts, power steering components, and the rear brakes. Power is provided by a 360ci V8 linked with a three-speed automatic transmission. Additional equipment includes 16.5″ steel wheels, power-assisted front disc brakes, LED headlights, a bed liner, a receiver hitch, a sliding rear window, and an AM radio. This F-250 Custom is now offered by the seller, a BaT Local Partner, on behalf of the current owner at no reserve, with service invoices and a clean California title in the owner’s name.

The truck was repainted in its current shade of white in 2022 following rust and dent repairs around the truck. Exterior details include a Styleside bed with a spray-in liner as well as towing mirrors, LED headlights, a receiver hitch, a sliding rear window, a lockable tool stowage box, and a chrome front bumper. There are signs of corrosion near the rear window and the rear side windows.

The 16.5″ steel wheels were repainted in April 2022 and are mounted with Cooper SRM II Radial tires. Braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The brake booster was rebuilt, and the shock absorbers, tie rod ends, and the steering coupler and gearbox were replaced in 2021. The rear wheel cylinders and brake shoes, as well as the power steering pump and an associated hose, were replaced in 2025.

The SuperCab cabin features a front bench seat and rear jump seats upholstered in Ginger vinyl. The inner doors were repainted in black, and further interior details include tan door panels, a color-coordinating bench seat cover, an AM radio, and a heater. There are tears in the bench seat.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, battery charge status, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 39k miles, approximately 30k of which were added under current ownership. The horn pad is missing.

The 360ci V8 was factory rated at 145 horsepower. The carburetor, water pump, thermostat, and accessory belts were replaced in September 2021. The seller notes an oil leak as well as smoke on initial start-up.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a three-speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission. The rear axle seals were replaced in September 2025.

The truck last passed a California emissions test in June 2010.
