This 1958 Porsche 356A Speedster was refurbished and modified in 2022 by Willhoit Auto Restoration of Long Beach, California, including the installation of a 2.2L flat-four, a front oil cooler, four-wheel disc brakes, and a WEVO five-speed manual transaxle. It rides on 15×5″ Tecnomagnesio wheels with Spax adjustable gas shocks, adjustable rear spring plates, and a 17.5mm front sway bar. The car is finished in Black over black leather and corduroy, and additional modifications include a stainless-steel exhaust system, an electric fuel pump, latch-and-link lap belts, and a 12-volt electrical system. Following the work, the car was featured in the September 2022 issue of Excellence magazine, and it was purchased by the current owner in 2023. This Speedster is now offered on dealer consignment with a copy of the Kardex, a Reutter Certificate of Production, refurbishment photos, and a clean Arizona title.

The car is one of approximately 141 examples finished from the factory in Black (5801), and it was stripped, mounted to a rotisserie, and repainted during the aforementioned refurbishment. Additional equipment includes a removable black canvas soft top, removable side curtains, and body-color bumpers. The windshield wipers have been removed.

The 15×5″ Tecnomagnesio wheels are mounted with Pirelli tires. Four-wheel CSP disc brakes with a dual circuit master cylinder were installed in 2023 along with Spax adjustable shocks, a 17.5mm front sway bar, and adjustable rear spring plates with 25mm torsion bars.

The fixed-back bucket seats have been reupholstered in black leather and corduroy, and interior appointments include charcoal square-weave carpets, a passenger-side grab handle, latch-and-link lap belts, a USB and 12-volt charger, and a body-color painted dashboard.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a central 6k-rpm electronic tachometer, a 120-mph speedometer, and a combination gauge monitoring oil temperature and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 600 miles, approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The 2.2L flat-four was built by Willhoit Auto Restoration and features the following components:
- 4340 billet crankshaft
- Carrillo rods
- Alloy 91mm NSC nikasil cylinders
- Forged pistons

- Weber 48IDF carburetors
- 5″ aluminum pulley
- 215mm sport flywheel
