This 2021 Audi RS5 coupe is an Ascari Launch Edition example that was leased and subsequently purchased by CarBahn founder Steve Dinan, and it now has 26k miles. The car is said to have been used as a research and development vehicle for the CarBahn engine management software and coilover suspension currently installed. Finished in Ascari Blue Metallic over black Nappa leather with Rock Gray stitching, the car is powered by a twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V6 linked to an eight-speed automatic transaxle and a Quattro all-wheel-drive system with a sport rear differential. A Wagner intercooler and heat exchanger were reportedly installed, and equipment includes an RS Sport exhaust system, Audi Ceramic composite front brakes, a sunroof, LED lighting, Audi MMI infotainment, navigation, Bang & Olufsen audio, heated power-adjustable front seats, and three-zone automatic climate control. This F5 RS5 is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner in California with a Carfax report and a Colorado title.

The RS5 has larger front intakes and wider fenders when compared with the standard A5. Ascari Launch Edition cars feature Audi Exclusive Ascari Blue Metallic paint, as well as matte alu optic side sill inlays and mirror housings. Exterior details include a sunroof, LED Laserlight headlights, and a power-operated trunk lid. The Carfax report lists “minor damage” in a June 2022 entry, though no additional information is available. There are scrapes on the underside of the front splitter.

The 20″ five-arm flag alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, and braking is handled Audi Ceramic composite front discs and cross-drilled and ventilated rear discs. The car has been retrofitted with a CarBahn coilover setup.

The heated power-adjustable front seats are trimmed in black Nappa leather with Rock Gray stitching and RS backrest logos, and amenities include cruise control, RS carbon matte trim, three-zone automatic climate control, RS5-branded all-weather floor mats, Audi Side Assist, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, and Audi MMI Touch infotainment with navigation.

The Alcantara-trimmed, flat-bottom steering wheel is equipped with paddle shifters and fronts a TFT screen. The digital odometer indicates 26k miles.

The twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter EA839 V6 was retrofitted with Stage 2 engine management software during research and development by CarBahn, according to the seller, and it is said to have been further modified with a Wagner intercooler and heat exchanger.

Power is sent to all four wheels through a ZF 8HP eight-speed automatic transaxle and a Quattro all-wheel-drive system. A Quattro sport rear differential was equipped from the factory. Ascari Launch Edition examples received an RS Sport exhaust system.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned damage entry.
