Max Wedge–Powered 1963 Dodge 330 Two-Door Sedan at No Reserve

This 1963 Dodge 330 two-door sedan was modified under prior ownership with the installation of a 426ci Max Wedge V8 that is linked with a TorqueFlite push-button three-speed automatic transmission and an 8¾” rear end with 3.91:1 gears. The engine is said to have “Stage 2″ cylinder heads and is teamed with a 3″ TTi exhaust system with cutouts and Dynomax mufflers. Finished in red over black vinyl and lighter cloth upholstery, the vehicle is equipped with body-color 14” steel wheels, hubcaps, a cross-ram intake manifold, dual four-barrel carburetors, and a tachometer. The seller purchased the car in 2015. Since 2019, the instruments have been rebuilt, an electric fuel pump was installed, a hood scoop was added, and the tires and the battery were replaced. Previously offered on BaT in September 2026, this modified Dodge is now offered again in Nevada at no reserve with service records and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The 426ci Wedge V8 was built by Bob McKray and installed in this car prior to 2015. It has a Max Wedge–style cross-ram intake manifold, dual Carter four-barrel carburetors, and “Superstock 426” rocker covers as well as “Stage 2″ cylinder heads. The Tubular Technologies Inc. 3” exhaust system has cutout sections to bypass the Dynomax mufflers. An electric fuel pump was installed in 2020. The battery was replaced most recently in mid-2024. The “Q5” code on the trim tag indicates that the vehicle was originally powered by a 383ci V8.

Finished from the factory in Medium Blue Metallic (DD1), the car was repainted in red under previous ownership. The hood scoop was painted and installed in 2020. Exterior features include a waterfall-like grille, offset quad headlights, a driver-side mirror, chrome-trimmed body lines, chrome bumpers, and dual exhaust outlets.

Body-color 14″ steel wheels feature bright hubcaps and are mounted with 215/65 Hankook Kinergy ST tires that were replaced in early 2025. Braking is provided by drums at each corner.

The cabin houses bench seats upholstered in black vinyl with light-colored patterned cloth inserts. The door panels have been replaced. Red lap belts are provided for front-seat occupants.

The red steering wheel fronts a horizontal 120-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and alternator status. The five-digit odometer shows 97k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership. The seller states that the odometer reading is not accurate, and true mileage is unknown. A tachometer is affixed to the steering column; it was purchased in 2020 along with three replacement gauges. The speedometer has been rebuilt or repaired multiple times under current ownership.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a TorqueFlite push-button three-speed automatic transmission and an 8¾” rear end with 3.91:1 gears.
