This Guards Red 1986 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa was purchased by the current owner on BaT in February 2026. Powered by a 3.2-liter flat-six linked to a 915 five-speed manual transaxle with a WEVO shifter, the car features a removable roof panel, integrated fog lights, a Porsche Classic Communication Management (PCCM) system, air conditioning, and heated power-adjustable front seats. This Carrera Targa is offered on dealer consignment by a BaT Local Partner in Florida with a Carfax report and a clean Montana title.

The car is finished in Guards Red and has a black removable targa roof panel, integrated fog lights, and heated power-adjustable side mirrors. The headlights were replaced in 2023, and the license plate lights were replaced in 2025. The right fog light lens is broken, and areas of bubbling, faded, and chipped paint can be seen in the gallery below. The above listing photos and a majority of the images in the gallery below were taken in February 2026.

The aftermarket 17” Fuchs-style wheels are mounted with 225/45 front and 255/40 rear Michelin tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs. The brake master cylinder was replaced in December 2024.

The cabin features heated and power-adjustable front seats upholstered in black leather. A Porsche Classic Communication Management (PCCM) system, aftermarket sound system components, and a WEVO shifter have been fitted, and the shifter rod coupling was upgraded in January 2026. Additional work performed under current ownership included retrimming the rear seat entry panels, rebuilding the pedal cluster, and replacing the left window switch. Rust is visible in the door jambs.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation, including a central tachometer with a 6,300-rpm redline as well as a 170-mph speedometer, a Quarz clock, and gauges for oil level, oil pressure, oil temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 98k miles.

The 3.2-liter M930/21 flat-six was factory rated at 202 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque. A CSF oil cooler was installed, the camshaft towers were resealed, and broken head studs were replaced in 2023, along with the alternator, timing chain tensioners, starter, battery, AC blower motor, and fan housing. The alternator was replaced in 2025.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Type 915 five-speed manual transaxle.
The Carfax report notes that the vehicle was stolen and recovered after theft in 1994.
