This 1970 Ford F-250 Ranger XLT Camper Special pickup was purchased by its current owner in 2018, and recent service has included a rebuild of the carburetor and the replacement of brake, engine cooling, and ignition components, as well as the intake manifold gaskets, valve cover gaskets, rear axle seals, and the power steering gearbox. It is finished in two-tone Wimbledon White and Harbor Blue and is powered by a 390ci V8 linked with a three-speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission. This bumpside F-250 is now offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner with service records and New York registration.

The truck is finished in two-tone Wimbledon White and Harbor Blue and features a Styleside bed as well as a bedside storage box, a sliding rear window, dual fuel tanks, and simulated woodgrain trim. Detailed photos of the exterior, including imperfections and depictions of paint-meter readings, have been provided in the gallery. The antenna and reversing lights are inoperable.

The 16″ Pacer wheels are mounted with Firestone Transforce tires, which were installed in June 2026. The truck is equipped with power steering, and braking is provided by drums at each corner. The front brake calipers and pads, as well as the master cylinder and the front and rear hoses, were replaced, and the rear drums were resurfaced in April 2025; the power steering gearbox was replaced in June 2026.

The bench seat wears a patterned cover, and further interior details include a heater and aftermarket speakers. The AM radio does not work.

The steering wheel frames a sweeping 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 99k miles.

The 390ci V8 was factory-rated at 255 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque. The carburetor was rebuilt, and the intake manifold gasket, fuel filter, fuel lines, and temperature sending unit were replaced in April 2025; the valve cover gaskets, spark plug wires, a drive belt, thermostat, the coolant hoses, and a coolant gasket were replaced in September 2025. The coolant temperature sensor was replaced in October 2025. The spark plugs and distributor cap were replaced in July 2026.

Power is routed through a three-speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission. The rear axle seals and differential fluid were replaced in April 2025. The seller tells us that the truck must intermittently be started in neutral as a result of an issue with the neutral safety switch.
