1965 Ford Econoline Pickup 3-Speed at No Reserve

This 1965 Ford Econoline pickup is a Spring Special example that was reportedly used for commercial flower deliveries by its original owner for 57 years before being acquired by the seller in November 2025. Powered by a 170ci inline-six linked to a three-speed manual transmission, the truck is finished in Poppy Red over black vinyl upholstery. Equipment includes curved rear quarter windows, four-wheel drum brakes, 15″ steel wheels, an electric fuel pump, and a cabin heater. Work under current ownership has included replacing the front bucket seats, overhauling the drum brakes, and installing replacement shift linkage. This Econoline pickup is now offered with an owner’s manual, an original 1965 bill of sale, historical records, and a clean Nebraska title in the seller’s name.

The pickup is finished in Poppy Red (3) and is equipped with round headlights with egg-crate surrounds, chrome bumpers, rear quarter glass, and a driver-side mirror.

The 15″ steel wheels are mounted with 225/75 Nexen N’Priz AH5 tires. The pickup is equipped with solid front and rear axles with leaf springs, and stopping power is provided by drum brakes at all four corners.

The seating surfaces are trimmed in black vinyl. Amenities include front vent windows, a heater, lap belts, and gray carpeting.

A three-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 99k miles.

The 170ci inline-six is mounted under a cover between the bucket seats and was factory rated at 105 horsepower and 158 lb-ft of torque. An electric fuel pump has been fitted.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a three-speed manual transmission. The shift linkage was recently replaced, per the seller.

A copy of the October 1965 sale invoice from Randall Ford Motor Company of Fort Smith, Arkansas, lists the factory paint color and additional equipment. A copy of the initial November 1965 title and other historical and Ford documentation accompanying the truck are shown in the gallery below.
