35k-Mile 2002 Chevrolet Corvette Z06

This 2002 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 was registered in Massachusetts and New York before its 2022 acquisition by the seller, and it now indicates 35k miles. Finished in Quicksilver Metallic over black and Torch Red leather, the car is powered by a 5.7-liter LS6 V8 that has been modified with a custom engine control unit (ECU) tune, an ATI Racing harmonic balancer, a 160° thermostat, a Vararam Industries air intake and power duct, and ceramic-coated LG Motorsports long-tube exhaust headers. It is further equipped with a six-speed manual gearbox, a limited-slip differential, mesh grille inserts, pop-up headlights, tinted taillight lenses, staggered-diameter lightweight alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, an onboard computer, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, electrochromic mirrors, and Bose audio linked to a factory CD stereo. This C5 Z06 is offered with a window sticker, a 2025 dynamometer test report, a clean Carfax report, and a Michigan title in the seller’s name.

The C5 Z06 was only offered as a fixed-roof coupe for increased chassis stiffness, and it featured mesh grille inserts as well as weight-saving measures such as thinner glass and reduced sound deadening when compared to the standard C5. This example is finished in Quicksilver Metallic and features pop-up headlights, Z06 fender badges, rear brake vents, and an electrochromic left-side mirror along with tinted taillight lenses.

Polished lightweight alloy wheels are wrapped in 265/40-17″ Toyo front tires and 295/35-18″ Continental rear tires. The Z06 suspension featured a larger front stabilizer bar, increased damping, and a higher spring rate than the standard Corvette. The car is equipped with Active Handling and traction control systems, speed-sensitive rack-and-pinion power steering, and disc brakes with vented rotors at all four corners. The seller tells us that the brakes were serviced within the last 1,300 miles.

The cabin features two seats upholstered in black leather with Torch Red inserts and Z06 embroidery. Appointments include dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, an onboard computer, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, an electrochromic rearview mirror, and Bose audio linked to a factory AM/FM/CD stereo. The seller notes that Lloyd floor mats have been fitted.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 35k miles, approximately 9k of which were added under current ownership.

The 5.7-liter LS6 V8 was based upon the contemporary LS1, and it features a refined aluminum block, a higher-lift camshaft, a 10.5:1 compression ratio, and increased air and oil flow. The seller notes that the car has been modified with a 160° thermostat, a Vararam Industries air intake and power duct, and ceramic-coated LG Motorsports long-tube exhaust headers as well as a custom engine control unit (ECU) tune. An ATI Racing harmonic balancer was installed in 2023, and the oil was changed within the last 500 miles. A dynamometer test report from April 2025 can be viewed in the gallery below.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox and a limited-slip differential. The seller notes that the engagement of first gear is intermittently notchy.

The included window sticker displays initial delivery to Davidson Chevrolet-Oldsmobile of Malden, Massachusetts, and it lists factory colors and equipment along with a total vehicle price of $50,915.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
