The slow rollout of Apple Intelligence in 2024 followed by a delay and rethink has caused several pieces of hardware to get shelved. The long-rumored Home Hub tablet, the next-generation Apple TV, and the other Apple Home products all need the new Siri AI to get the most out of them.
According to the “Power On” newsletter from Bloomberg, Monday’s launch of Siri AI with iOS 27 is finally what will allow these dormant products to release. Specifically, it calls out the updated Apple TV as due sometime this fall.
