327-Powered ’32 Ford Pickup

This ’32 Ford pickup was modified in 2022 and is powered by a 327ci V8 topped with a single Holley carburetor and paired with a Turbo 400 three-speed automatic transmission. The build incorporates a custom chassis, a drop axle and hairpin front setup, Aldan American coilovers, and a four-link rear end with a narrowed axle with 31-spline axles and a 4.11 spool. The top is chopped and the body is painted black, and additional equipment includes 15″ wheels, a padded roll cage, bomber-style seats, Deist harnesses, and a B&M Pro Ratchet shifter. Acquired by the seller in 2025, this hot rod is now with service records and a California title in the seller’s name.

The body is finished in black and features a chopped roof, a wooden pickup bed, Mooneyes decals behind the headers, and a “Road Peasants Burbank” decal on the rear window. An exterior battery master disconnect switch is mounted at the rear, and the seller notes a scratch in the paint.

The 15″ front wheels are Rocket Racing units, while five-spoke alloys are fitted at the rear along with 29.5″ Hoosier-branded rubber. The truck rides on a custom chassis with a drop front axle with hairpins, a four-link rear end, and Aldan American coilovers at all four corners. Braking is handled by discs at all four corners with JFZ-logo front calipers.

The cabin houses aluminum bomber-style bucket seats with brown leather pads, and matching upholstery accents the door panels and roll bar. Deist harnesses, a B&M Pro Ratchet shifter, and power-window switches were also fitted.

A leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel is mounted to a steering column supported by a Mickey Thompson connecting-rod-style hanger and fronts Mooneyes instrumentation including a 140-mph speedometer, a six-digit odometer, auxiliary gauges, and an AutoMeter Sport-Comp 10k-rpm tachometer with a Shift-Lite. The odometer shows approximately 37k miles.

The 327ci V8 is said to have been rebuilt approximately 10 years ago and is described by the seller as having accumulated minimal running time since. Equipment includes a Holley intake manifold and carburetor, tubular headers feeding a custom 3″ exhaust system with Flowmasters, Offenhauser finned aluminum valve covers, an Edelbrock mechanical fuel pump, an aluminum coolant expansion tank, and MSD ignition wires.

A handwritten build sheet also indicates the engine was built with a steel 350 crankshaft, 0.035″-over pistons, small-journal construction, Lunati connecting rods, JE pistons, a Comp solid-roller camshaft, and Dart Iron Eagle cylinder heads.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Turbo 400 three-speed automatic transmission equipped with a Street & Strip torque converter and a B&M Holeshot 3,800-rpm stall converter. A handwritten build sheet also lists 31-spline axles and a 4.11:1 spool.

Louvered hood panels are included.

The truck is titled as a 1932 Ford using VIN 182333039.
