Put down the razor and step away from the shaving cream, because Movember has officially gone feline! While men everywhere are attempting to grow respectable mustaches, a bunch of cats have already won the competition without lifting a single paw. Talk about an unfair advantage!
Some of these kitties look like old-timey detectives investigating a suspicious tuna shortage. Others resemble retired gentlemen who spend their afternoons reading the newspaper and yelling at birds to get off their lawn. And a few look like they fell asleep while someone was doodling on their faces with a Sharpie. Whatever their style, these furry little mustache models are absolutely killing it.
The tuxedo cats have a particularly unfair advantage. They’re already wearing formal attire, and now they’ve got the facial hair to match. Give one a tiny briefcase, and he’s ready to head into the office and fire someone for being five minutes late with breakfast. His qualifications? Seventeen hours of sleep and an impressive ability to knock expensive objects off shelves.
Then you’ve got the cats with those little crooked mustaches. They look like they’re permanently smirking at a joke nobody else understands. Maybe they’re laughing at the humans who spend money on fancy grooming products when they were born looking this furbulous. Must be nice to wake up every morning with a perfectly styled mustache and absolutely no responsibilities.
We’re also convinced that a mustache adds at least twenty years to a cat’s appearance. A six-month-old kitten with a little black patch above his lip suddenly looks like somebody’s grumpy grandfather. He’s barely learned how to use the litter box properly, but he already looks ready to complain about how things were better in his day.
The real tragedy is that these cats have no appreciation for their own magnificent facial fur. They’re too busy getting their heads stuck in cardboard boxes, screaming at empty food bowls, and attacking their own tails. You could be looking at the most distinguished mustache in feline history, and its owner is currently trying to eat a plastic bag.
Still, Movember is the purrfect time to celebrate these naturally mustachioed meowsters. Their facial markings come in every shape and size, from tiny little smudges to full-blown masterpieces that would make a barbershop quartet jealous.
So raise a paw for the cats who have been sporting magnificent mustaches since birth. No razors, no mustache wax, and definitely no grooming appointments required.
