18k-Mile 2004 Volvo S60R

This 2004 Volvo S60R 2.5T has been driven 18k miles by its two owners, the second of whom kept it for a total of 18 years. It was configured with over $7k in options including the Sport, Premium, Climate, and Touring packages. They together offered a sunroof, revised bodywork, heated front sport seats, and a Dolby Prologic surround sound system. Additional optional details include a five-speed automatic transaxle and 18″ Pegasus alloy wheels, and the car was specified in Passion Red over Graphite leather. Power is provided by a turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-five and additional appointments are a Haldex all-wheel-drive system, bi-xenon headlights, and dual-zone automatic climate control. This P2 S60R is now offered by the selling dealer at no reserve with a window sticker, the owner’s manual, a damage-free Carfax report, and a clean Pennsylvania title.

The car is finished in Passion Red (612), and the Sport Package added a revised front spoiler, bumper covers, rocker panels, and a rear wing. The Premium and Climate packages added a power glass sunroof and a rain sensor, respectively. Additional exterior details include bi-xenon headlights with wipers and washers as well as fog lights and heated power-adjustable side mirrors. Photographs of paint-meter readings are displayed in the gallery below.

The 18″ Pegasus alloy wheels are mounted with Firestone tires. Braking is handled by Brembo discs at each corner. The S60R featured a Four-C semi-active suspension system developed by Monroe and Öhlins. The car is also equipped with Dynamic Stability Traction Control (DSTC).

The front sport seats are trimmed in Graphite leather, and their heating function is included with the Climate Package. The Premium Package added a Dolby Prologic surround sound system and an in-dash four-disc CD changer, while the Interior Air Quality System (IAQS) and a grocery bag holder are part of the Touring Package. Further interior details include dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and driver-seat position memory settings.

The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames blue-dial instrumentation including an 8k-rpm tachometer, a 160-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 18k miles.

The turbocharged and intercooled 2.5-liter DOHC inline-five was factory rated at 300 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque.

Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed automatic transaxle and a Haldex all-wheel-drive system.

The window sticker lists initial delivery to Superior Volvo of Kansas City, Missouri, as well as factory colors, equipment, and a total suggested retail price of $45,065.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage. It also lists at least one open recall.
