This Porsche 550 Spyder Replica features fiberglass coachwork produced by Chamonix Karosserie, and it was built to the seller’s specifications in 2010 by Special Edition Inc. of Bremen, Indiana. It has since been retrofitted with a revised rear clamshell, a larger fuel filler cap, a frameless polycarbonate windshield, and external jack points. Powered by an air-cooled 1,915cc flat-four linked with a four-speed manual transaxle, the car is finished in silver over red leather upholstery. It is equipped with front disc brakes, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, Simpson seatbelts, and a fire extinguisher. This 550 Spyder replica shows 2,100 miles and is now offered with spare parts and an Ohio title in the seller’s name that lists the car as a 1955 Chamonix Spyder.
The fiberglass bodywork is finished in silver, and exterior equipment includes gold Spyder fender script, gold Porsche decklid script, red rear fender stripes, a driver-side mirror, and engine and trunk cover leather straps.
